Welcome to SCRA

Mission Statement

The purpose of the South County REALTORS® Alliance is to serve it’s membership in developing and promoting programs and services that will enhance the members freedom and ability to conduct their individual businesses successfully with integrity and competency, and through collective action, to promote the preservation of real property rights.

The South County REALTORS® Alliance (SCRA) is a real estate networking group comprised of full-time and part-time professional REALTORS®. SCRA was formed to provide exposure to our listed properties for sale and to better serve our buyers and the community they live in.  We have been providing professional real estate services, educational opportunities, and community support to our local community for over 40 years. Educational opportunities include locally-held ongoing classes for REALTOR® and Affiliates sponsored by SCRA as well as classes sponsored and promoted by local mortgage and title companies.

To join SCRA, you must be a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.).  To be one of our affiliates, you must be an affiliate member of the Santa Clara County Association of REALTORS® (SCCAOR).

President’s Message

Jill Toler – 2025 SCRA President

It’s with a profound sense of excitement, gratitude and responsibility that I accept this position as your SCRA President. As we move into this new year, I believe it’s crucial to reflect on values that serve us well as we work toward a thriving and impactful future for our profession and the communities we serve.

First, it is so very important to me to emphasize the value of community service. As real estate professionals and our affiliates, we hold a unique position within our communities. We help people find homes, build businesses, and invest in their futures. Let’s go beyond transactions and actively engage in initiatives that benefit and improve our neighborhoods. Whether it’s supporting local charities, participating in community projects, or advocating for sustainable housing solutions, let’s dedicate ourselves to making a positive difference.

Secondly, let’s lead with heart and character. In a competitive market, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of clients and leads. However, true success lies in building trust and fostering genuine relationships. Let’s conduct ourselves with integrity, honesty, and transparency. Let’s be advocates for our clients, while always upholding ethical standards and prioritizing their best interests. I firmly believe there is enough business for all of us.

Third, let’s cultivate an attitude of gratitude. We are fortunate to be part this dynamic and rewarding profession. Let’s express our appreciation for the mentors who have guided us, the colleagues who have supported us, and the clients who have trusted us. Let’s also be grateful for the opportunities that this industry provides, the challenges that have made us stronger, I know we have had plenty in the past year, and the lessons that have shaped our expertise.

As we move forward, embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. The real estate landscape is constantly evolving, presenting us with new challenges in how we do business, market trends, and client needs. Let’s be proactive, innovative, and adaptable. Let’s embrace continuing education and leverage technology to enhance our services and better serve our clients.

Let’s not just survive in this industry but thrive. Let us strive for excellence in our professional endeavors, while also prioritizing our well-being. Let’s cultivate a healthy work-life balance, nurture our personal and professional relationships, and find joy in the process of helping others achieve their real estate goals.

While we all have busy schedules and demanding clients, let’s practice mindfulness. Let’s be present in each interaction, actively listening to our clients’ needs and concerns. Let’s approach each transaction with focus and intention, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service and support.

Finally, let’s commit to continuous growth. Our industry is constantly evolving, and we must commit to lifelong learning. Let’s embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, seek out professional development opportunities, and stay abreast of industry trends. Let’s strive to become the most knowledgeable, skilled, and ethical professionals we can be.

Let’s work together to elevate our profession, champion ethical practices, and foster a collaborative and supportive environment for all. Let’s lead with integrity, serve with passion, and make a lasting positive impact on the communities we serve.
